I was reading an article today on a product that claims to help ESL students and children with reading disabilities. It is the WizCom Reading Pen Ts which retail at $199. The pen has a built in microphone that reads the words to the child so that the child can improve hi or her reading speed and comprehension.
I think this pen is awesome and a dream come true. My son has a disability in language arts and really struggles with his reading. His comprhension does seem to increase when he is being read to or has a audio tape or cd to listen to. I would use this pen because I know his reading will improve. I miss the smile when he understand what he is reading and I would purchase the pen just to have it back.
