School Choice

Looking back at my education and evaluating school choices, I had to admit that I did not have a made good academic career. School was a place that I enjoyed and I loved learning. My teachers respected me as their student and also showed that they cared for me as a person. I cannot complain about school. However, not everyone is that lucky and will be given the opportunities that I have experienced.

So what do you do if your child's is not given the same opportunities to learn as other children? Do you hope that one day they will be motivated enough to say "okay my teacher back in grade school didn't teach me this but I can teach myself how to read." No. You take action and one option for parents with lower incomes is the Milton Hersey School.

Milton Hersey School is a private, residential school for children Preschool through 12th grade who come from a family of low income, limited resources and social need . The Milton Hersey school is located in Hersey, Pennsylvania. Children who attend this school are provided with:

• Medical and dental
• A family-like student home
• Assistance with continuing education after the child graduates
• Beautiful learning campus

All of this is provided free for qualifying children.

I have heard great reviews from parents and their now grown children who have attended this landmark school. The only down side to the school was that the child is away from the home and the children would say that they were missing their families. Other then the separation anxiety, I have heard nothing but great reviews about the school.
